Chocolate and Oreo Tart

This chocolate and Oreo tart is a perfect dessert. If you are a chocolate fan, you are going to love this… It is decadent, rich and SUPER chocolatey.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 300 g Oreo biscuits
  • 25 g Butter
  • 400 ml Coconut milk
  • 360 g Chocolate I used a semi-sweet one

Instructions
 

  • Crush the biscuits into a fine crumb. I actually use a food processor to do this as it’s way easier/ quicker. Melt the butter. Combine the butter and the biscuit crumb in a bowl. Press the crumb mix into a tart tin- I used an 8-inch one with a removable bottom.
  • Place the coconut milk into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Chop the chocolate up into small chunks (I also use the food processor for this!) and place into a large bowl. Pour the hot milk onto the chocolate and leave for 3 minutes. After the 2 minutes, whisk the chocolate and milk together to form a silky ganache.
  • Pour the chocolate ganache over the biscuit base in the tart tin. Place into the fridge for a few hours (or overnight) and then decorate with whatever you wish!
